3 miles – 90 mins plus ice cream time!

Meet at the layby on Duxbury Hall Road on the way to the Golf Club House postcode PR7 4AT W3W vital.edge.pans.

To get to the start of the walk by car leave Chorley on the A6 (Bolton Rd) turn right down Wigan Road at Fredericks ice cream parlour then take the first right and follow the road downhill and branch of left going towards the golf club park at the layby on the right right where there are benchs. Additional parking is available at the Golf Club carpark. The walk takes us through the park to then cross Bolton Rd (pelican crossing). We then walk passed the Yarrow Bridge pub and turn up Hoggs Lane to join the Canal we turn right and follow the canal to Fredericks where we can stop for ice cream. We will then cross the road in front of Fredericks and walk up Wigan Rd before turning right and walking along minor roads back to the start.
