New season starts on 10th April 2026

We meet every Friday from mid April until the end of September on Astley Park bowling greens. It is necessary to arrive before 2pm to register to play on the day. The group matches start promptly at 2 pm and some bowls are provided if you do not have your own. Please let us know in advance if you wish to try out any 'club' bowls as we do not routinely carry them with us.

The bowling season for 2025 has finished. We ended with a meal and competition and the prize winners are shown in the picture below

After leading this group for ten years Kath and I will be 'stepping down' as group leaders before the start of next season. My many thanks to all of the bowlers, both past and present, who have participated and have made it an enjoyable and successful group. The group will be continuing next year with Gideon as the new leader and it is likely to restart mid April in 2026
