This is a group for those people who like to chat over a bite to eat in a pub. We meet each month (except December) on the third Wednesday, arriving around 12.30pm at the chosen venue. As we are the Chorley u3a we use local pubs, in the town centre or on a bus route.

Obviously the quality and variety of food in the local pubs can vary but to compensate we have found that all the venues have been very hospitable. As we are going as individuals you are free to choose from the menu to suit your pocket, soup and sandwiches are usually available, or just come and have a cup of coffee.

You do not need to book but just turn up on the day. Hope to see you soon.

Our March venue was the Sea View, Preston Road, Chorley.

Our March venue was the Sea View, Chorley. A number of people were pleasantly surprised at some of the menu items, so they enjoyed the 'old school' items such as liver and bacon. As usual we all had a good time catching up with each other.

We meet up once a month on the third Wednesday circulating around the pubs of Chorley. Whilst we may not always experience 'gourmet' food at our venues we do have good company.
