The natural world is fascinating and diverse with so much to learn and appreciate -and as Mind, the mental health charity, says: “Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing.”
The group visist the many local nature reserves and wildlife habitats in our area to observe and record all types of flora and fauna. We will also have one-hour-long indoor meetings with guest speakers and discussions, during the winter months (November to February; NO meeting in December).
The group has a WhatsApp group for members to post pictures and ask for help in identification of what they have seen, if needed -and given the range of species in Chorley and district, it probably will be!
