The Drawing and Painting Group first meeting of 2025 will be on Friday 24th January at 10am.
Prior to each meeting, an email is sent out to members with a photograph for them to then use watercolours, pastels, acrylics or coloured pencils to paint the picture. These are all available to try during the meeting.
Sometimes we have a photo that uses just graphite pencils or charcoal. We have also experimented with 'Brusho ' inks , and finger painting with acrylics. Videos on Art on YouTube are recommended.
Our group ranges from beginners to more experienced artists. Everyone is welcome.
