Easy to pick up and a great way to excerise, pickleball is fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world. It's a fun, low-impact, social sport that can be played as either singles or doubles. Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, where players use paddles to hit a plastic ball between them. It can be played as both singles and doubles.

There is also a useful YouTube vidoe entitled "How to Play Pickleball in 5 Minutes". It goes through the basic rules and scoring at quite a pace, so you might want to watch it several times to full understand it (and we can't promise you'll have the same blue sky in Chorley!).
